Intro
Going to Indonesia felt like going back to my roots. My grandmother has Dutch parents, but she was born and raised in Indonesia.Β Ever since I was a little girl, I was always intrigued by her stories about life in Indonesia. Seeing all the wooden furniture and wayang dolls in Indonesia reminded me of my grandparent’s house. Apart from its rich history, Indonesia also has rice fields, volcanoes, waterfalls, nice food and amazing resorts to offer. We went to Java and Bali, but we would love to come back and see more islands.
