Enjoying the superior double room with private infinity pool and sea views on our balcony in Panormos Village (Mykonos - Greece)

Panormos Village is the perfect stay for anyone who is looking for affordable luxury in Mykonos. We had a wonderful time in the private infinity pool with sea views on our balcony. And Mykonos Town is just a 15 minute drive away…

Superior Double Room with private pool

We wanted to finish our Mykonos trip in style, so we stayed in a “superior double room with private pool” in Panormos Village for 2 nights. I enjoyed our balcony with private infinity pool and sea views so much, that we hardly left the hotel.

The private pool was extremely clean, as staff came to remove leaves from the water daily. The only slight disadvantage for me is that the water in the pool was not heated, so it got pretty chilly after a while. But of course this is perfect for a cool down in the water after some serious sunbathing on the balcony. Just make sure to visit Mykonos in a hot and sunny season when you book this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the private pool was actually big enough for a bit of a swim. It also has underwater seating in the side, so you can just sit back and relax with a cocktail while enjoying the sea views. Definitely my idea of paradise!

Even if you don’t have a room with private infinity pool on the balcony, there is also a communal infinity pool with sea views:

Breakfast and dinner

Breakfast was included in our stay, and there was plenty of choice in the breakfast buffet at Panormos Village. The breakfast was of good quality, but tasted even better with these sea views:

For dinner we went to restaurant Kalosta, which is right next to Panormos Village. Kalosta serves traditional Greek dishes, and even the wine and beer were Greek. I would definitely recommend this authentic Greek restaurant:

What to do nearby Panormos Village

Apart from restaurant Kalosta and beach club Principote, there is not much within walking distance from Panormos Village. Only the Agios Sostis beach is a 15 minute walk away:

Agios Sostis is one of the few beaches in Mykonos where you can just lay down your towels without having to pay for sunbeds. It’s a very quiet beach as well, so the perfect escape from Mykonos’ party vibe.

Mykonos Town

If you’re renting a car in Mykonos, then Mykonos Town is only a 15 minute drive away from Panormos Village Hotel. You can park the car for free at the Old Port. We went for an early morning photo shoot in Mykonos Town, and even made it back in time for breakfast at the Panormos Village hotel:

Armenistis Lighthouse

The Armenistis Lighthouse is less than a 20 minute drive away from Panormos Village, and it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset:

We had a wonderful stay in Panormos Village, and it is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the luxury of Mykonos for much cheaper than any similar hotel in Mykonos Town.
