Spa Experience
Budapest is renowned for its thermal baths, and a visit to one of the city’s historic thermal baths is a must. The Gellért Baths and Széchenyi Thermal Bath are both excellent choices for relaxation and rejuvenation.
We went to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath around sunset on a winter’s night, and it was so romantic. We’ll never forget watching the snow falling down at night from the hot spa.
Food Tasting
Sample Hungarian delicacies at local markets or try a food tour that allows you to taste traditional dishes such as goulash, chimney cake, and more. Exploring the city’s culinary scene together can be a delightful adventure.
Or why not try a Hungarian cooking class together? Cooking together is a great bonding activity for couples, and you’ll be able to serve up Hungarian food at home.
Wine Tasting
Hungary is known for its excellent wines, and Budapest offers several wine-tasting experiences. Sip on exquisite Hungarian wines at a cosy wine bar and share your thoughts on the different flavours. Who knows, maybe you’ll even find your new favourite wine!
Ruin Bar Pub Crawl
Budapest’s famous ruin bars are a unique experience. Explore the quirky, artistic, and eclectic bars in the Jewish Quarter with your partner. Each bar has its own distinctive vibe, making it an exciting night out.
We had an unforgettable night at the fascinating ruin bars of Budapest – we haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else.
